A 12-month multi-site study conducted by the German Institute for Occupational Safety (IFA) measured real-time PM2.5 levels in foundries and battery manufacturing facilities using EcoCore’s SmartFlow-7 filter cartridges. Results showed sustained 92.3% reduction in respirable dust vs. legacy cellulose filters—and a 3.8x decrease in OSHA-recordable respiratory incidents. The findings reinforce EcoCore’s alignment with WHO air quality guidelines and strengthen ESG reporting for clients pursuing LEED v4.1 and WELL Building certification.
