EcoCore co-founded the Industrial Filtration Circular Initiative (IFCI) with UNEP and 12 OEMs to address the 87,000+ tons of spent filter media landfilled annually. The program introduces traceable RFID-tagged cartridges, standardized recycling KPIs, and a shared logistics network across North America and EU. Phase I—launching Q3 2024—targets 65% material recovery rate and sets a benchmark for ISO/TC 142 sustainability certification.
